Hello my name is Carla Edmunds, I am from South Africa, I am a 36 year old English, mathematics, Biology and Geography teacher. I am a qualified preschool teacher as well as a Pastry chef. I love to travel around the world teaching my subjects as well as travel for my leisure , however teaching is my passion, I love to learn from my students as well as making sure that my students enjoy and understand their lessons for the day. I have learnt so many traditional food dishes on my travels as well as sharing my home recipes I love. Hi! My name is Luke, I study Chemistry at the University of Oxford and I offer teaching in Mathematics and Chemistry. I have just finished my first year at Oxford having achieved a distinction in Chemistry (which contains a huge Mathematics course). I have had numerous hours of experience with a wide range of ages and I have taught A-level, GCSE and KS2.

My relationship with Spanish started during my University career, but quickly developed during my year of study abroad in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I have over two years' experience sharing my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with students of various ages, and have supported pupils to prepare for exams or simply learn for fun. Having previously been a nervous speaker myself, my goal is to show students how capable they really are of holding their own in another language. I always make sure to identify pupils' learning preferences and areas of difficulty, and tailor my lessons to support each individual. In this way, I help learners to build stronger understanding of key concepts, excellent listening, reading and writing skills, as well as newfound confidence when speaking.
