Lower Levels: Maths GCSE: Maths and Further Maths A-Level: Maths and Further Maths I am the most knowledgeable about AQAs exam boards, however can also tutor Edexcel and OCR. I’m a 2nd year mathematics student at the University of Bath and I enjoy playing lacrosse, watching motorsport (and go karting) and running! I received A*A*AA at A-Levels and A* in EPQ. I have 11 GCSEs grades 7-9 including a 9 in Maths. I have taken part in many Maths Challenges, receiving golds and ‘Best in Year’ as well as receiving a merit in the Girls’ Mathematics Olympiad. In sixth form, I was also a subject leader for maths and so enjoy helping others learn and understand the subject :)

I'm Joe a, final year politics student at the Univeristy of Liverpool. During my time at university and before I've enjoyed tutoring originally only in person but for the last three years with GoStudent, aside from this, I'm currently involved with multiple societies such as the Ski, Badminton and Pool societies. Moreover, my interest in politics and social sciences is not confined to my degree, I enjoy reading on these topics outside of the University reading list, particularly history. Through this variety of interests, tutoring is something which simultaneously benefits from them and aids them by expanding my own understanding of these topics. Therefore tutoring is more akin to a hobby than a job for me due to my enjoyment of it. Throughout, my academic career I have enjoyed a wide range of subjects. originally my interests were only in history, and although this is still a favourite, my areas of knowledge have grown more varied. For instance, I'm now studying politics at university, which has been a great eye-opener. Furthermore studying politics has brought me into contact with more areas of study such as economics, media, business and geography. However, I have studied all of these to varying levels before university. My interest has led to me attaining a 2:1 grade each year of study. Moreover last year I spent a year in industry at Liverpool City Council putting the theory into practice further adding to my understanding of all the subjects mentioned above. Finally, tutoring has only added to my academic knowledge, they say the best way to learn something is to teach it to someone else, and I'm certainly a believer in that.

I now volunteer at my local animal shelter, started playing D and D, picked up a couple of sessions of ultimate frisbee and I am trying to broaden my horizons more every day. I like to keep busy with things to do and I love helping people, especially when I get to teach.

I have a massive passion for teaching and I love to help students excel in all subjects. Even though English isn’t a large part of my degree , it is a subject I hold close to my heart and would love to impart my knowledge and techniques to other students to help them achieve those top grades. I also love science and believe I can help students excel academically in biology and chemistry.My main hobbies include reading , baking and I love to baby sit family members when I have the time ! I am super approachable and empathetic and this caters well to teaching alongside medicine.
