I am 19 and I am studying Law and Sociology at the University of Warwick. I have a passion for English and Sociology and I feel as if I can break down the curriculum into an absorbable form of information. I understand the challenges that come from a rigid curriculum, hence why I take a different form of teaching in order to maximise learning.

I am approachable and down to earth. Currently studying biomedical science at university and I tutor in maths, biology and chemistry (GCSE). I’ve always loved teaching because it makes me learn more in the process as well. This is my first tutor role so go easy on me 😂

Hi! I am a neuroscience student at QMUL. I studied maths, further maths, biology and chemistry at A-Level. I have experience working at Kumon Maths and English helping students aged 4-16 and also worked as a GCSE maths mentor at a nearby high school. I am eager to support students along their educational journey, no matter their background.

I'm a highly driven, enthusiastic learner and teacher; I am currently completing my qualification to become a certified TEFL/TESOL teacher to teach abroad and help students of all ages and backgrounds gain confidence in English. Alongside this, I am currently completing my degree in Zoology. I can teach a variety of age groups and subjects including maths, biology, general sciences, geography, zoology, and English at primary and KS3 levels—as well as English literature, English language, biology, psychology, zoology and geography at GCSE. Due to a new job in childcare, the only times I have available for teaching are during school hours on Monday-Friday. I also have a 9 a.m. slot on Sundays. Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel. Languages: Fluent/native in English (currently completing a TEFL/TESOL course in the English language as well), Basic French and Spanish. SEND: I do not have any specific experience with SEND groups, however, I have worked with children in mixed-ability groups. I am more than happy to cater my tutoring towards any SEND requirements or disability requirements, I aim for my lessons to be as accessible as possible. I have quite a few students currently that are SEND and have been successful with them so far. Preferred student age group: Primary age up to GCSE, and any ESL/TEFL students wanting to learn English I have many hobbies including music, reading fiction and non-fiction and learning new things from scientific literature. I would like to say that I'm always doing a hobby that is interesting and productive but I also love watching movies in bed and taking lovely, long walks around town with my headphones on. As a student that prioritised my grades and my studies so much, I understand far too well how it can affect your mental health and well-being. Making sure my students are happy and confident is my number one priority, and I will ensure that I act as a supportive and compassionate tutor. Higher education at university base in the Biological sciences department (specifically focused on Zoology) Completed A-Levels/BTECs in biology, psychology and medical science and 10 GCSEs ranging from A*-B grades I have a level 1 certificate in British Sign Language, I completed this by joining a British Sign Language Society in my 2nd year of university. I also have a Gold University of Chester Volunteering Award (UCV), awarded to me for dedicating over 150 hours to various volunteering projects. This included my role as a project leader for 'Bonding Through Books'; this project aimed to create a fun and safe environment for primary-age children to learn and read outside of the curriculum.
