I take an enthusiastic and welcoming approach to my teaching, put the needs of the students as my first most priority. I currently study Arts and Sciences BASc at University College London with a current specialism in Organic Chemistry. I previously obtained 4 A*s in my A levels, including Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. Additionally, I obtained top grades (grade 9) in these three subjects at GCSE level.

I'm a second year Economics student studying at Bath. I took Maths, Further Maths and Economics and an EPQ for my A Levels in which i achieved A*A*A*A. I specialise in teaching Maths for KS2, 11+, GCSE and A Levels and as well as this I teach Economics at A Level for the Edexcel Board. I am confident in being able to help students with mastering content as well as improving their exam technique. I am extremely passionate about tutoring and hope to be able to use this passion to improve the academic ability of my students.

About me: I have worked teaching and tutoring adults and children in Canada, Mexico, Israel, China, and the UK in a range of contexts. I have been an Outdoor Educator in Hong Kong and mentored Master’s students in Canada. I have worked on inspiring youth through environmental projects as well as in traditional school settings. I aim to create engaging, and dynamic learning environments tailored to the needs of each individual. I look to excel student understanding through combining my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm. I want students to feel empowered to continue learning and achieving their goals in all areas of life. I was brought up in the UK where I completed 11 GCSEs all at A and A* levels. I then completed the IB Diploma in Hong Kong, after which I moved on to BC Canada to complete a BSc with distinction in Environmental Sciences and Geography. I was involved in different editing and writing platforms as well as managing different environmental projects on campus. I am passionate about outdoor sports and have been lucky to enjoy multi-day kayaking, hiking, climbing, and surfing trips all over the world. After completing a BSc with Distinction in Environmental Sciences and Geography, with specialisation in Ethnobotany, Indigenous Studies, Fieldwork Techniques, and GIS systems, I have continued pursuing my enthusiasm for learning about the natural world. I love outdoor sports including climbing, surfing, swimming, hiking, Scuba Diving, and kayaking. I have also been teaching English Lit and Lang for over 4 years, with over 7 years of experience as an editor and freelance writer. I am a certified Rescue Diver and freediver, with over 12 years of experience diving around the world and observing marine life. I am fascinated by ocean ecosystems and different coastal planning objectives worldwide. I have completed Wilderness First Aid Courses in Canada, for remote work in temperate rainforest ecosystems. I have also completed First Aid Training for CPR level 3 and Infant First Aid. I have a Permaculture Design Certificate, received during my studies in Canada whilst working on an organic farmstead. I completed the 120 Hours TEFL course in 2022, and I have always had a passion for language and the written word. I have gained many experiences through my travels in communicating and mentoring people. Studying Mandarin and Hebrew has allowed me greater insights into teaching ESL. I have been an avid reader and writer throughout my life. I have experimented with language through freestyle rap performances, poetry, short stories, and science fiction. I love exploring and expressing knowledge through the written word as well as through art. I studied Hebrew in Israel and received my Bet Level Hebrew award. I found myself here during the beginning of the pandemic and as such trained working with cement interior and exterior micro-topping. In GCSE I was one of the top performers in the country, attaining the highest grade in my school for English Lang and Lit. I have taken part in art competitions and writing competitions. I find the combination of art and science incredibly versatile and interesting.
