Hi I am Mary Jo and I love teaching! I have been tutoring 6th to 12th graders for many years, as well as adults, both in English and in Spanish. I enjoy the connection that is developed from teaching and sharing lessons, working on project works and exams. The challenge of helping a student realize their full potential, participate actively in the learning process and finally achieve top results, is one of the best experiences for me. Plans tailored to your interests, necessities and goals are important to reach those results. So we can work together to develop topics and activities in order to make this classes interesting and enjoyable. I like watching series, working out, traveling, drawing and playing the guitar. I also love animals, particularly my two dogs who are always in class with my students! I look forward to being your tutor soon!

Hello! I'm Catherine. My favourite book as a child was 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,' and I've been in love with the written word ever since. With my degree in English Literature and Creative Writing under my belt, I now use my writing skills to run a successful copywriting and marketing business, but I also spend a lot of time training my clients and running evening classes for local women in business. I found that teaching and helping others brought me a lot of joy and fulfillment, which is why I decided to become a GoStudent Tutor. I take a supportive, friendly and encouraging approach when it comes to teaching, and enjoy thinking outside the box when required to keep lessons fun and engaging. When I'm not working or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my partner and 7-year-old stepson, walking my dog in the countryside, reading, and crafting.

Hi! I am a recent Law and Politics graduate from Queen Mary University of London. I grew up in Pakistan but then moved to London for my studies. I am passionate about any subject that allows critical thinking. I enjoyed public speaking while at school and university as it allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge and be analytical. I am also an avid reader, anything from true-crime novels, historical fiction to drama and poetry. I love dogs and have the cutest cocker spaniel named Chloe. I believe in a truly be-spoke approach to tutoring, no two students are the same. I wish to develop long-lasting relationships with my students and help them achieve their goals.

I am a university associate lecturer in Biology, Natural Sciences and Earth, Environment and Ecosystem Sciences, and I am also a secondary school science teacher (PGCE / QTS). Available to tutor GCSE, IGCSE Single Sciences Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and Combined Science, (AQA, OCR and Pearsons). Available to tutor A-level Biology, Human Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Natural Science (OCR and AQA exam boards). Available to tutor 6th form students through their UCAS personal statement writing and through the UCAS application process. I speak French, some German, a little Italian and Spanish and love all things international, am a big fan of the United Nations (UNESCO) Education for Sustainable Development and the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (which I promote in my teaching practice), as well as ESD (Education for Sustainable Development). I also love sailing, kayaking surfing, wild swimming and snorkeling. I am a qualified RYA dinghy sailing senior instructor (I used to race 470 sailboats as part of the British Sailing Team). I also love music and playing percussion (Brazillian samba) and am part of a local community street band.
