Since 2015, I have worked as both a private tutor and a schoolteacher, teaching predominantly Spanish and English to students of all ages and abilities in person and online. At the age of three, I emigrated from my native Bulgaria to England, where I promptly learned English despite having no prior knowledge of the language. In secondary school, I began studying Spanish, taking to it immediately. Accordingly, I studied Spanish and English literature at GCSE, achieving grades A* and A respectively, and at A-level, achieving grades B and A* respectively. Later that year, I advanced my studies at the University of Reading, obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Spanish and English literature in 2019. Since graduating, I’ve taught in excess of 1,000 hours of Spanish online to over 70 students, reaching the top of the Spanish tutor ranks on Tutor Hunt and receiving dozens of positive, predominantly five-star reviews from satisfied clients across the continent. Knowing from personal experience how challenging learning a foreign language or mastering the art of essay writing can be, I aim to facilitate the process for my students by tailoring my tuition to their individual needs and providing them with a wealth of resources to aid their learning. Personable, passionate and productive, my mission is to help my students not only achieve but exceed their goals. I studied Spanish and English Literature at GCSE, achieving grades A* and A respectively, and at A-Level, achieving grades B and A* respectively. I have just completed my MSc in Big Data and Financial Analysis, having received a distinction. Before this I studied Human Geography at Swansea University, and became the treasurer for the society! I chose both these courses as I like to know why the world functions as it does, and what better way to understand this than the political, economic and social geographies; as well as the business/finance world! In my spare time I enjoy running, football and rugby; I also love to ski! Living in the Netherlands, as a Spanish international student has made me realize how wonderful the Spanish language is and how much I miss it.
