Hello, my name is Kirsty. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Manchester studying maternal and fetal health. At secondary school I always enjoyed learning about Science and Maths, so after my GCSEs I decided to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Following this, I went to the University of Manchester to study Biomedical Sciences. Here I spent three years learning about various aspects of Biology such as Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroscience and Biochemistry. From my lectures I began to grow an interest in maternal and fetal health, which I pursued by completing my master's in reproduction and pregnancy. As well as increasing my knowledge about biology I also learnt laboratory skills and how to conduct experiments. I am now doing my PhD whilst also teaching undergraduate biology students at the university. Outside of academia I also enjoy going to dance classes, hiking and baking.

I study the physics behind the fluid flow of groundwater and the chemistry of contamination. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol. I love science and I love studying the science of Earth. I have a deep appreciation for the applications of science beyond school level and want to inspire my students to be enthusiastic about science. I aim to not only help improve your grades but to also build your confidence. I have been tutoring for 4 years, but this is my first year with GoStudent! I have experience teaching all GCSE and A-level exam boards and I understand how examiners expect students to apply their knowledge. My hobbies include badminton, running and dancing! I will be studying philosophy and economics at UCL from September. I enjoy making learning fun for students to ensure that they are progressing in order to unlock their full potential. Hi there! My name is Oliver (or Ollie). I am a 22 year old student currently completing my Mathematics BSc at the University of Nottingham. I have experience in tutoring online and like to believe I am an empathetic tutor who understands what it's like to be in a position where I'm not performing as well as I should due to not enjoying what I am learning. As a result I think I will be able to relate to many students who require tuition. Over the years I have developed a way of thinking about and approaching different concepts in order to develop a true understanding.
