I am dedicated, patient and caring with ten years experience of working in a primary school classroom setting. Until now, I have been working part-time as a teaching assistant and therapeutic support staff at a SEMH resource unit within a mainstream primary school. I have also been called upon to offer therapeutic support at a similar resource unit at a secondary mainstream school. My responsibilities involved supporting pupils / students in class during lessons and offering emotional support through various one to one interventions. Working at the primary school allowed me to have a good insight of the primary school education. Currently, I work with Education First Kids Online UK, where I mainly teach young learners on a one-on-one bases. The focus is on English grammar, vocabulary, reading and conversation, as part of EF’s blended learning model. I am also a Preply English /German Tutor and with over 800 teaching hours, I organize, plan and deliver interactive and engaging lessons with a variety of teaching methods depending on individual learning needs. I use a rage of lesson materials provided by Preply as well as other resources available. I am fluent in German (native language) and fluent in English. I am interested in artistic and creative activities, such as art, music and dancing. My teaching methodology mainly focuses on delivering topics in the easiest and most straightforward way, all accompanied by a sensible introduction and a meaningful context. I suggest students to send me their topics of interest or their topics' material in advance of sessions. I teach maths at the following levels: - National 5 - Scottish Highers and Advanced highers -IGCSE - A-levels -Undergraduate Physics and Maths modules/courses. -Postgraduate Physics and Maths modules/courses. I graduated with a merit (upper second) class from the University of Glasgow in 2022, where I studied a Master of Science in Astrophysics. I also studied a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Astrophysics from Northumbria university where I graduated with a first class honours.
