Hi! I'm Jenna, a recently graduated Psychology student with a passion for learning and helping others achieve their full potential. As a determined problem-solver, I have always loved maths - the satisfaction I get from solving a particularly difficult problem is what makes it my favourite! From solving algebraic equations in early GCSE to working out financial budgets for my university life, maths has always been exciting for me. Hopefully I can share this passion with you, and have some fun along the way. I have some tutoring experience across a range of contexts, from helping year 7s struggling with secondary school maths topics, to regularly assisting university students with psychology questions. At the forefront of my focus is a student's inherent grasp of the topic. I will continually check your understanding, and I am willing to approach the topic from a different angle in order to elevate your understanding and knowledge. I am determined to help you in any way that I can so you can achieve your personal academic goals and importantly, boost your confidence in your own mathematical ability. There are no stupid questions in lessons with me - I will encourage you to stick with it and keep asking for help and guidance until you could do it in your sleep! It's not always about top grades: a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and familiarity with numerical rules come first, but good marks almost always come hand in hand with this. I graduated from secondary school in 2019 with 11 GCSEs and from sixth form in 2021 with 3 A Levels and an EPQ. I have lived in London for most of my life. I love to read, books are a huge passion of mine, and I also write occasionally. I'm also extremely interested in theatre, drama, history, politics, languages, philosophy and psychology — anything studying human beings, really. Any time I'm in a new city, I am scouring its art galleries and museums. I completed 11 GCSEs in secondary school, all grades 9-5, including English Literature and Language, Maths and Triple Science. I also achieved 3 A Levels in sixth form, grades AAB, as well as an A in my Extended Project Qualification. I spent 6 months mentoring female university students in Afghanistan in the English Language. I am currently an undergraduate Psychology student at university.

As a student at the University of Oxford, I am passionate about learning and education, with the focus being on ensuring every tutee I have is able to realise and hence optimise their skills and talents. It is this passion for education that leads to individual success.
