I am very into my sport, playing netball as well as being a swimmer, so I understand tackling your academics while juggling the activities you want to do is hard. I am currently in my second year at the University of Nottingham. I tutor A Level and GCSE English, GCSE History and 11+ entrance tests online. I did A Level English literature as well as GCSE history and english. My primary goal is to create a safe space where I can help others improve their skills surrounding these humanities-based subjects I completed my A Levels at Pate’s Grammar School with an A in English Literature, A in Politics and B in economics and GCSE with 9s in Maths, English literature and language, and history, as well as 8s in biology, chemistry, physics, business, religious studies and music. I am currently studying Classics at the University of Nottingham.

Hi everyone! I am Rifah, a current first year medical student. I have already gained a bachelor's and a master's degree in the field of science, so it is safe to assume that I enjoy learning all things scientific! I also enjoy teaching science (and maths) which is why I have been tutoring both subjects for the past 6 years. I have experience tutoring one-to-one but also in a small class setting, where an actual classroom teaching is mimicked. However, during my one-to-one lessons I like to focus on my individual's student's needs and weakness, tailoring my help to what is the most beneficial for them. This is why I always ask for feedback from my students, and incorporate their ideas in my lesson to make it more engaging and fun. Nevertheless, I ensure that we cover all basis for what is needed to better their school performance. I am very familiar with all the exam boards offered by British schools (such as AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC), thus I am confident that I will be able to help everyone to the best of my ability. Given my academic background, I can also help with personal statements and entrance exams required for Medicine.
