About me: Hi! I’m Irene. I have been involved in teaching for 2 years, having previously worked with students age 4-16 as a teaching assistant in the UK and in Spain. My experience has allowed me to develop my confidence in teaching students from KS1 all the way up to A-level. In addition, in my second and final year at University I tutored 1st year Biology students who were struggling with the jump from A-level to undergrad, helping them develop their statistical, critical analysis and exam writing skills. Thanks to the patience of my teachers and a dedicated tutor I excelled in my science and maths GCSEs and A-Levels which ultimately gave me the confidence to go on and study Biology at the University of Leeds.
