Hi, my name is Feryal and I am currently on a gap year. I am going to be studying Politics and Economics at the London School of Economics next year. My hobbies include playing tennis as well as cooking foods from all over the world. With over two years of tutoring experience, I hope to help you tackle the subjects that are challenging you as well as build your confidence.

My name is Ahmad, and I have a passion for sharing knowledge with others. I have been working as a professional tutor for the past few years, teaching students of various years and helping them overcome obstacles. My teaching is multimodal and individually tailored to suit the needs of each of my students, and I consider the success of my students as my own.

I am currently studying Law at Durham University and have started to tutor in the summer, whilst I am at home. At university, I have joined the dance society. I play the piano and the flute and enjoy listening to all different types of music, from pop to classical! During my time at school I was in the school band and performed in various charity showcases. English and History were my favourite subjects at GCSE, so I decided to take them at A-Level. I enjoy learning about the past, with my favourite topic being medicine throughout time. My favourite area of English is poetry, and I enjoy reading a vast majority of poems from different periods in time analysing what the poems wider message symbolises.

I have worked in youth services and informal education for over fifteen years, including a year spent running an emergency academic support and tutoring centre during the covid-19 pandemic. I love getting to know each student individually, understanding their interests and learning style to build lessons that help them meet their goals and grow a lifelong love of reading, writing, and learning. I tutor in the following subjects and levels: -PRIMARY: English (reading and writing), Maths, Social Sciences -SECONDARY: English and Social Sciences -GCSE: English and Social Sciences -11+ test preparation I have experience working with SEND students of all ages and levels. I am conversational in French and have basic Spanish skills. In my spare time I love to read, knit, sing in local choirs, and explore London with my family, especially my beagle mix DJ.
