I have recently graduated from the University of Brighton with an MA degree in Creative Writing and am passionate about English Language and Literature. Hi, I'm Kiel! With extensive experience in education, I am passionate about teaching mathematics and science to students from kindergarten to high school. While pursuing a Master's degree in Mathematics and Science education, I build on a solid foundation in educational theory and research-based practices. I integrate these practices into my lessons and actively pursue professional development to stay updated with the latest pedagogical advancements. My qualifications enable me to create dynamic, supportive learning environments where students stay motivated and empowered. Outside the classroom, I am a gamer and an environmental scientist who finds inspiration in nature's beauty. These interests show my commitment to balance and creativity in both teaching and life. I have three degrees, including a PhD, in English literature, and have worked for further education institutions for over ten years. From 8 year olds wanting to improve their reading comprehension, to students preparing for school exams, to undergraduates needing to write better essays, I've tutored them all! Most of my school experience is in the Scottish curriculum. I have a CELTA in teaching English as a foriegn language and have taught children and adults in Asia and the Middle East. I love teaching all levels, especially children.

I offer tutoring for the following: Maths - KS2 up to and including GCSE Further Maths - GCSE I also offer tutoring for adults looking to gain their Maths GCSE or Functional Skills qualification I'm currently working in the pharmaceutical industry having moved over from the financial sector. I've previously tutored a range of students (both in age and ability) and enjoy helping others obtain their goals.
