I am 19 and I am studying Law and Sociology at the University of Warwick. I have a passion for English and Sociology and I feel as if I can break down the curriculum into an absorbable form of information. I understand the challenges that come from a rigid curriculum, hence why I take a different form of teaching in order to maximise learning.

Hi there! My name is Luke, and I live in Oxfordshire, England. I am available to tutor for all subjects at primary level, as well as English and Media Studies up until A-level, and History to GCSE. Until recently I was working as a primary school teacher, but decided on a change in career direction. I have a degree in Film Studies with English Literature from the University of Southampton, as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education from Oxford Brookes. I have experience teaching children of all ages (plus adults), and have worked with students from all across the globe. I am an experienced educator with a doctorate in Mathematics from Imperial College London, currently working as an Associate Lecturer at a higher education institute in the UK. I have always loved mathematics since I was a child; I see solving mathematical problems almost like playing a game, and above all it gives me great satisfaction! Mathematics is a universal language allowing questions to be answered in a non-subjective way, and I believe that this is one of the greatest strengths and beauties of the subject!

Hello! My name is Isla, and I am a passionate tutor studying Primary Education at the University of Winchester. I have over a year of tutoring experience and have spent time in a student teach role in Primary Schools working with all abilities and SEND. I am also studying SEND as a specialism. My love for teaching stems from a desire to make a positive impact on young lives and help students reach their full potential. I have a comprehensive knowledge in all areas of education, having achieved highly in both GCSEs and A-levels. In addition to my formal education, I have also had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through teaching placement in schools. This has allowed me to apply my theoretical knowledge in real-life situations and has helped me to develop a range of effective teaching techniques. I believe that every student can succeed, and it is my goal as a tutor to help each student reach their full potential. My approach to tutoring is centred around tailoring each session to meet the specific needs of each student as I believe that every student is unique and that a one-size-fits-all approach is not effective. I am currently studying at University of Winchester and am in my 3rd and Final Year of my Primary Education Bachelor's Degree where I am specialising in Additional Needs. I have also completed additional qualifications in First Aid, Philosophy for Children and a Level 5 LAMDA Award for Acting. I thoroughly enjoy learning and being able to give that joy to my students and have had the incredible opportunity to work within a variety of school settings putting my theory into practice and seeing my students thrive.
