Hi, I'm Haris and I study Medicine at Leicester University, throughout school I always loved helping out any friends stuck on school work, because I found this was a great way to learn and now it's become a vital way for me to revise in med school. I will find different ways to explain certain topics to myself so that I can fully understand them, and I have found this effective when I’ve taken part in mentoring schemes at my university. This is what makes me so enthusiastic about tutoring and I can see myself taking teaching roles in the future of my carrer. I can tutor GCSE Maths, Chemistry and Biology, all of which I received top grades at both GCSE and A-Level. I also provide KS2 and KS3 Maths tutoring. I'm a Chelsea fan, I enjoy Xbox/PS, the Gym, Marvel Movies, and a slight bit of rugby, over the years I’ve been able to maintain all these hobbies, even through exam periods, and I put that down to timetabling effectively which is something I’m happy to help with if needed!

I love to dance and have been doing this since the age of 4. I have taught maths GCSE for almost a year now so have acquired a lot of resources and tricks to get you the best grades. My preferred age group is Year 9+10. I have taught those struggling to pass and those aiming to achieve a grades 7+. I believe I am best suited to those who are struggling as I am a very approachable and kind tutor who never lose patience or makes students feel as though the don't understand concepts.

Hello, I’m Tom! I have just completed the International Baccalaureate at a United World College. While at the college, I tutored local students and current students in Maths and Geography. Having a younger sister I began tutoring by aiding her with her primary school homework. I now love tutoring, helping students Conquer their academic Goals! I am a very approachable, kind, patient and encouraging tutor! My style of teaching is welcoming, relaxed and friendly. I have completed an Understanding Dyslexia Diploma and a SEND Diploma each at Level 3/150 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. I specialise in tutoring English as a first language (UK curriculum) and a second language (ESL) and have taught students of all ages and abilities (children and adults) all around the world. I have around 3,000 hours of online tutoring experience online, (mostly) teaching one-to-one but I also tutor in small groups. I adapt my lessons to the needs and abilities of the individual child or adult. No two students learn the same way! I may use flashcards, videos, puppets, songs and learning games, trying to make my lessons interesting and fun as I believe that students learn best when they are engaged and enjoying the lesson. I love doing all sorts of crafts, for example crocheting, painting rocks and making sock toys.
