Hi. I'm Emma and I have been a Primary School Teacher for over 20 years. I have experience teaching all age groups in Primary. I love teaching and seeing the twinkle when a student suddenly understands what you are teaching them. I have experience teaching children with a range of additional needs including dyslexia, ADHD and ASD. I recently decided to leave the classroom and begin my online teaching career. I am really looking forward to meeting you and helping your children to grow and develop. As a teacher, I completed a number of training courses in all areas of the Primary curriculum. My specialisms are the teaching of English and teaching phonics and early reading skills. I have also recently completed a course on Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Friendly and enthusiastic maths and science tutor for GCSE and A level. Currently doing a master's in Astrophysics at the University of York and have 2 years of tutoring experience. Whilst school can follow the same routine each day, I think it is important to make each lesson different and fun whilst learning the content to help students succeed in their subjects. As everyone learns differently I believe it is important to get to know the student as an individual and tailor each session to their requirements to get the most out of a lesson. It is important that students can not only answer exam questions but understand the content, therefore I aim to help students think outside the box and beyond the standard curriculum. I strongly believe this is will help students tackle difficult questions or new concepts in the future. I love athletics and am part of a local running club where I train for hurdles. I have also been playing the violin since I was young and love being part of my university orchestra. I am also learning German as a hobby; languages have always been my passion, and I enjoy learning different languages to communicate with others. ( Great for over the summer between year 11 and 12 is you want a head start) Currently studying physics at university and haven recently completed my A levels in maths, physics and chemistry I have a good understanding of the Uk/Irish curriculum and the structure of exam questions across a range of exam boards. I have been tutoring maths for two years from primary ages up to A level, which has taught me a lot about different methods of tutoring and how to approach difficult concepts, and am eager to help students with any problem either through content learning or exam style practice.

**SSH** Hi, I'm Sophie (she/her) ! I'm currently studying English Literature, French and Dutch at the University of Sheffield, and I can't wait to share my passion for books, languages and everything in between! I have been tutoring for 2 years and am offering tutoring in English, French and History to A level. I finished my A Levels in summer 2021 so I completely understand not only the current exam system and latest revision techniques, but also how stressful school life can be, both inside and out of the classroom. My goal in becoming a tutor is to do my best to help you achieve your personal goals, whether you're aiming to simply pass a class or achieve the highest grade possible. Our sessions will be focussed around how to achieve your best- everyone's 'best' is different, but yours is what matters to me. Outside of studying, I am usually found relaxing and having a giggle with my friends, curled up with a good book (my favourites are usually fantasy or romances) and a cup of coffee, or dancing! I've also been vegan for three years and a huge animal lover.

Hi there! I am a 21 year old education and psychology student living in the south of Ireland!
