Hi! I'm a second year undergraduate student at the University of Bath studying Economics. I'm a keen kayaker and enjoy cooking. My specialty is in Mathematics, having performed well at both GCSE and A-Levels, and have experience assisting with students, including those with poor reading comprehension. A*, A*, A, B in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology and History at A-Level. I was a part of a programme to assist the reading of children with poor developmental skills, and have taken part in my university’s peer mentor scheme, aiding new students as they begin a new chapter.

Languages: English and Spanish. I am a native Spanish and Dr in social anthropologist at the the University of Manchester. I teach Sociology and Media Studies at all Levels including GCSE, A-Level including IB curriculum and exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, 11+ and Cambridge International. I also teach Spanish to adult students at different levels. My teaching philosophy is shaped by my academic background in anthropology and interest in how cultures influence the production of knowledge. I also have knowledge in film studies and skills in audio-visual production. I can support students in their academic and artistic creative process. In my teaching, I link the learning material and cultures to engage in communication with the students and contextualise what we are learning. Cycling, climbing and the love for animals are some of my main personal interests. I love travelling and I am currently living in Berlin.

Hi, my name is Trisha and I'm a third-year medical student at the University of Nottingham! GCSEs and A Levels are hard exams and when you don't understand the content or are not sure how to revise, the whole process can feel even more difficult. I know the feeling all too well having sat these exams not so long ago. Luckily, I picked up lots of great tips along the way that I can't wait to share with you! I'm well-equipped to tutor students of all abilities as I am knowledgable regarding the content and also exam technique. I've spent hours preparing for my own exams so understand how to tackle those pesky mark schemes and answer questions exactly as the exam boards want them. I can also give guidance on revision techniques that I used to achieve top grades. Before joining GoStudent, I had a year of online tutoring experience and have worked with students of a range of abilities and backgrounds which helped develop my communication skills. Hello, I'm Armi, an English teacher since 2021. Having completed my postgraduate studies in 2023, my primary focus is English teaching, although I find joy in exploring various academic subjects. My classes are conducted entirely in English, aiming for an immersive learning experience. Beyond teaching, I'm passionate about community service, have military experience, and enjoy figure skating and fashion modeling for international competitions.
