My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I am a 19 years old studying Art History and Theology in Glasgow. I have been living in this incredible city for 2 years now. Before, I lived where I was born, just in the South of Paris. I grew up and lived in France all my life. I graduated High school with a French Baccalauréat in French literature and Humanities. I love literature, art and movies which I use to teach French in a fun and pedagogical way. I know that learning a new language is difficult and that the traditional classroom is not adapted to everyone's needs. It is therefore really important for me to create a nice, warm, and welcoming environment to learn. French is beautiful, fun, and its history is incredibly rich! Over the course of my A levels, I started helping more and more students in either one-on-one settings or in groups of two or three, both, face to face and online. This is the point where I realized that I enjoy teaching; when students younger than me and, in some cases, even my own friends came up to me and told me how well their tests and exams went.
