My name is Rebecca and I am from South Wales, United Kingdom. I have experienced living in different places around the UK and I lived in London for several years, which was an amazing experience to meet people from international countries and learn many things about their culture and interests too. I enjoy cooking at home, as formally I have trained on the job as a professional chef, mainly in seafood/fish restaurants and Japanese cuisine. Also, I like going for a walk down the coastline and taking in the scenic views, photography and sometimes video gaming when the time arises. For over a year, I have been teaching English online as a second language to Taiwanese and Chinese students, both juniors and adults. Which became an interest whilst I was teaching sushi classes in London. I decided to advance onto teaching specifically English and conversational topics chosen by students, to further improve their overall English language. From education I gained a TEFL level 5 teaching qualification and a BSc (Hons) in Food and Consumer Management from Birmingham University. Which focused on live industry projects within the FMCG sector, nutrition and the business elements within the food industry. I enjoy cooking at home, particularly Japanese cuisine and seafood dishes that I learnt previously as a professional chef.

- Biology GCSE - Maths Year 7 - 9 I am a second year undergraduate student at King's College London studying BSc Biomedical Science, and achieved AAA at A Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have been a tutor & mentor all throughout school, and have tutored my younger sister throughout her GCSE Science & Maths. I've always loved Science, especially Biology, and enjoy studying it at university. I have also been a student who has taken online tutoring lessons during school, so I feel I understand well what makes an effective, helpful lesson and how to best support as a tutor. I love teaching, and like to create the most comfortable environment possible for my students - the best way to learn is through asking & answering questions. Hi! My name is Sarah! I am an undergraduate biochemistry student who has done a year of Bsc chemistry! I do tutoring as my part time job/full time job during the summer! I am a patient and understanding tutor who had worked with many students through a school programme on a different platform and I'm now branching out to private tuition! I have experience with many exam boards, and many different types of students, including SEND. I pride myself on my ability to make subjects make sense and adapt my teaching style to my students' needs! I tutor biology and chemistry from primary to A-Level, English is only offered at GCSE. I equip them bit by bit with necessary skills they'll need for future exam boards. - IB exams: we learn the art of essay-writing and language dissertation. whether in literature or language, I provide students with an understanding of how to approach their exam papers and tackle them in an organised and detailed fashion. - Public speaking and Arts of communication: I will teach you how to captivate your audience, dodge tricky questions, keep your audience's attention, and, deliver a meticulous presentation/debate/lecture... that has all the information needed within it. - University level English: I am well equipped to support you in any University material related to English literature or language and to explain how you can better your proposal and thesis writing.
