I am Jithmi Linara and I am currently a third-year student pursuing Aerospace engineering at the University of Liverpool. I am a very passionate and enthusiastic individual, and I would also say very hardworking. I do love swimming and spend an hour or two in the water when I have some free time. As a National swimmer, swimming has always been my burning passion. The experience of representing my motherland at various championships in the sporting arena has also taught me to relish challenges and work together with my teammates to achieve a common goal. I was the headhouse prefect and student representative at my school and this role as a leader made me what I am today. I was and still am a public speaker, I also have the ability to speak and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people with respect. I was given the opportunity to work as a student counsellor at a leading organization and this experience led me and shaped my personality as well and enabled me to maintain a positive attitude towards anything. I am a Registered Psychometrician who has worked in an educational institution for several years. I also have four years of experience teaching English and I am TEFL-certified. During my first year of teaching, I became an assessor for young learners. I assess and evaluate their proficiency in the English language. Additionally, I was allowed to teach Business English to young professionals and businesspeople. I help them prepare for exams and presentations and enhance their professional communication. I also help boost their confidence in speaking. Teaching has always been my passion. It allows me to share my knowledge and inspire my students to succeed. During my free time, I read novels and watch movies. I also love traveling and exploring other cultures and trying different cuisines. I majored in Psychology at the university and earned thirty-nine (39) academic units in my master's degree in Psychological Measurement at De La Salle University. I have always been interested in studying Psychology because it is fascinating. It helps us understand human behavior, thoughts and emotions. It is like uncovering the reason why people behave in a particular way, which can ;lead to better relationships and communication. I took the board exams to become a Registered Psychometrician in 2015. As a Psychometrician, I specialize in the development, administration and interpretation of psychological tests that measure a variety of attributes such as intelligence, personality and behavior. I play a crucial role in ensuring these tests are scientifically valid, reliable and unbiased. Furthermore, I love teaching the English language as well. Language is a vital tool for communication, and it is amazingly rewarding to help others develop that skill too.

Hi! My name is ramisha and I have a degree in Biomedical Sciences and am currently doing a masters degree in Regenerative Medicine. Science is a great passion that I have, I’m surrounded by it daily and would have it no other way. As well as this, I’ve always had a love for English language and literature, and have always been a big reader. I hope that my passion for the subjects in turn helps students find their passion, and I hope to show them how to fall in love with learning the way I have.
