At 19, I attended the University of Bristol where I achieved a BSc in Geology because I have a passion for the environmental sciences. Since then, I have pursued an MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham, completed a Ski season in the french alps and I lived abroad in Taiwan teaching science for 1 year.

Hello there! I’m Janry, a senior high school teacher with seven years in the Department of Education. I'm a licensed ECE and Math teacher with a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of San Carlos. I specialize in Math, Physical Science, Earth and Life Science, and English. I love learning and teaching, and I understand student struggles. In my sessions, YOU are the star! Friendly and enthusiastic maths and science tutor for GCSE and A level. Currently doing a master's in Astrophysics at the University of York and have 2 years of tutoring experience. Whilst school can follow the same routine each day, I think it is important to make each lesson different and fun whilst learning the content to help students succeed in their subjects. As everyone learns differently I believe it is important to get to know the student as an individual and tailor each session to their requirements to get the most out of a lesson. It is important that students can not only answer exam questions but understand the content, therefore I aim to help students think outside the box and beyond the standard curriculum. I strongly believe this is will help students tackle difficult questions or new concepts in the future. I love athletics and am part of a local running club where I train for hurdles. I have also been playing the violin since I was young and love being part of my university orchestra. I am also learning German as a hobby; languages have always been my passion, and I enjoy learning different languages to communicate with others.
