My passion for education and cross-cultural communication prompted me to transition from a career in law to teaching English Soft Skills and Cross-Cultural Communication overseas. I have taught in-person and online classes in a variety of countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Russia, the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. I specialised in teaching Young Learners, Academic English, Business and General English. I helped students acquire the ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English. I provided academic English instruction to students aiming for success in academic settings, focusing on advanced language skills, essay writing, and academic vocabulary. My experience has made me self-motivated and skilled in teaching students of various proficiency levels. I create personalised lesson plans tailored to each individual's learning goals and areas for improvement. I have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, which served as the foundation for my legal skills. To further my interest in justice, I pursued a Master's degree in law and comparative criminal justice, focusing on immigration and modern slavery concerns. I recently completed a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) course to improve my English language teaching skills. My educational background demonstrates a dedication to both legal knowledge and language instruction.

Levels and subjects: GCSE: Biology, Chemistry, Math A-Level: Biology, Chemistry, Math Exam board experience: I have studied and taught AQA biology and chemistry to both GCSE and A-Level students. Alongside this, I have experience teaching AQA and Edexcel math to both GCSE and A-Level students. I have also successfully tutored students taking the UCAT and BMAT and then preparing them for medical school interviews. Languages: I am fluent and comfortable in tutoring in both English and Urdu. Preferred student age group: I have prior experience in teaching GCSE and A-Level students so am comfortable teaching students in secondary school through to sixth form/college. About me: Having moved from Pakistan to the UK at a very young age, I was fortunate enough to stay and study here. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels and did very well in both. I am now in a gap year but hold an unconditional offer to study medicine at Leicester Medical School, beginning September 2024. Away from my studies I love travelling and experiencing new cultures, and have been fortunate enough to travel to several countries in the last year alone. Through this, I have learnt some of life's most important lessons and have grown as a person which has allowed me to reflect and understand exactly who I want to be. I am a firm believer that striking a good balance between work and our personal lives is vital to living a happy and fulfilling life. I am a qualified and experienced Italian tutor. I am very committed and passionate about what I do. I always make sure that what and how I teach is appropriate for each class/student, reviewing and updating my skills and knowledge as well as my resources. I have a solid experience in online teaching through different platforms to both children ( I taught Italian in Primary schools for 4 years) and adults learners. I have been able to provide my students with a variety of interactive resources and activities always tailored made and selected according to their needs.
