Have been tutoring for over 4 years since graduation and worked within several secondary schools in Birmingham as Maths GCSE intervention tutor supporting groups of 1:6 for y10/11 mocks and final GCSE Exams. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education, am a licensed professional teacher, and hold a TEFL certification. I specialize in teaching math to students from kids to high school level. My goal is to make learning math clear, fun, and easy to understand! I graduated from Philippine Normal University with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education in 2018. I also earned a Professional Teaching License and a Suken 4th Kyu Certificate in 2019. My main area of expertise is in math education and course design. Hi, I’m Amay I am currently an Accounting & Finance Undergraduate student Having a vast range of direct past experience both in tutoring and working with children, I am comfortable in such environments and am passionate about the teaching I do I like to make lessons enjoyable so that my students are always thoroughly engaged by using a variety of techniques to cater learning towards each individual student, I am very enthusiastic at this prospect and leveraging my subject knowledge and past experience to improve student's learning experience and helping them achieve to the best of their ability. On the whole, I myself have achieved A*/A in in my own GCSEs and A-levels and look forward to helping more students in improving their learning also. At university, I am involved in women's rugby, netball and badminton, allowing me to have a good work-life balance. I also play a big role in charities, having taken part in many different volunteering schemes and partnerships. In one of the partnerships schemes I took part in, I taught science to primary school children. I am also a huge advocate for equality as demonstrated by my roles in the Women in Medicine Society and also the Diversity Society at school. As a student ambassador at university and a previous school prefect, I am always professional and I have the experience of acting as a good role model for students. I am currently a second year medical student at King's College London. I chose to study medicine because I love learning about how our body works and what happens if something goes wrong. I hope to use my knowledge and skills to help others. At school, I achieved 3 A*s at A level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and 10 A*s and 2 As at GCSE, therefore I am confident in my abilities to support students in achieving their highest goals.
