Hello! My name is Mara Fasano, I am Italian, and I am passionate about languages. I am very excited to get to know you and study together. Before starting, I want you to learn a little more about me. I graduated from the University of Naples with my Bachelor of Political Science, then went on to earn my Master of Education with an emphasis in International Relations. Tutoring is my life’s passion, and I have been instructing students for more than 8 years. My years of experience as a tutor have helped me form a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed. In fact, I truly believe that their success begins with making them feel comfortable, welcomed, and understood. Therefore, I always create a friendly and open relationship with my students, and I encourage them to share their questions in an unbiased and open environment. I strive to create a space for them to explore their own learning styles, then I'm there to help develop their interests and guide their absorption of the material. I have been teaching on the GoStudent platform for nearly 2 years now. I spent a gap year working as a teaching assistant in my local primary school where I mainly worked with year 6. However, I also had experience with years 3,4 and 5. My main hobby is gaming and esports such as Overwatch where I used to play professionally and reached top 100 ranked in Europe. I now play on the university team and also coach players to help them improve!
