Hello! I'm Alex, an enthusiastic English teacher from England with a love for making learning fun, engaging and memorable. I've always been passionate about language - starting from my early school days, where I would read thesauruses and Atlases memorising all the words and capital cities for pure entertainment! Now, I focus on helping students enjoy and remember what they learn, making every lesson both captivating and effective. With a degree in Media, Culture & Social Sciences from the University of the West of England and as a fully qualified TEFL teacher, I bring a rich blend of cultural insight and academic excellence to my English teaching. I’ve traveled extensively across China, South America, and Europe, which has deepened my understanding of diverse learning styles and cultural nuances. In addition to my educational background, I’m also a certified health coach, specialising in holistic healing and self-empowerment. My approach to teaching is holistic and student-centred, fostering a supportive environment where your child can thrive both academically and inter-personally. I’m committed to helping students build confidence and achieve success in their English language journey.

My favourite subject at school was English! It allowed me to be creative and achieve great grades. In my spare time I like to game and read books. I also like to think I'm good at Table Tennis 😂. I am currently studying Finance and Accounting at the University of Bradford. It is my second year and I am aiming for a First.

I like to teach Maths at any level ranging from Key Stage 2 to A-Level and Physics at the Key Stage 3 and GCSE level. My favourite topics in Maths include: - Algebra (at any level) - Statistics and Data Handling - Geometry - Equations of Graphs and Calculus - Multiples, Factors and Primes - Fractions, Decimals and Percentages - Indices and Surds - Trigonometry and Pythagoras - Surface Area and Volume My favourite topics in Physics include: - Waves - Pressure - The EM Spectrum - Density and Change of State - Speed and Acceleration - Energy - Current, Resistance and Voltages in Circuits, I am creative person who likes in Football (both playing and watching), gymnastics, building things, marine life, computers and Maths. I am a second-year Geography with Economics at Loughborough University. I have been tutoring professionally for almost three years, specialising in Maths and English curriculums up to GCSE level. I am also proficient in my knowledge of multiple 11+ exam boards in all four subjects.
