Hi there! I'm Alexis, and I'm known for being a bubbly and patient person. Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of helping students at all levels achieve their goals and increase their confidence in maths and sciences! Lately, my focus has been on GCSE level students, where I've made it a priority to familiarise my students with the exam structure and questions as well as equipping them with effective strategies to tackle complex problems so they can approach their exams with confidence. Organisation is one of my key traits, so I often create personalised revision schedules and checklists for my new students to ensure they stay on track. I have a friendly and approachable teaching style, and so I tend build strong relationships quickly. When it comes to topics, my favourites are algebra, trigonometry, and energetics, and I'm experienced in teaching KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, and AS in Maths and Sciences. Now, a bit about me outside of teaching! I have a passion for martial arts and regularly train japanese jiu-jitsu. In the past, I also used to wrestle (family thing). During weekends, you'll often find me immersed in activities such as painting acrylic landscapes, pursuing crafts, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. Recently, I've taken up a new hobby of learning skipping rope tricks. It's always great to have some fun activities outside of academics! I hope this gives you a friendly and engaging overview of my background and interests. I'm excited to meet and help your children excel in their studies! Currently, I'm working as an Energy Engineer, which I absolutely love. I'm proud to say that last year I graduated with distinction from my Masters in Sustainable Energy, and I also have a bachelor's degree in Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Back in the day, I did my A-levels equivalent in Chemistry, Maths, Biology, and English. I used to have a love-hate relationship with Chemistry and Maths, but then I realised that if you actually understand what you're learning, it's hard not to enjoy the subject. That's why I'm passionate about helping my students adore Maths and Sciences too!

My name is Terri Micheala, but please feel free to simply call me Terri. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication, which I received from the Varsity College in 2016. History fascinates me deeply, and I cherish spending my free time reading books or enjoying films. Travelling is another passion of mine, and over the years, I've been fortunate to travel various countries, including Namibia, Botswana, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Finland, Dubai, Doha, Singapore, and New Zealand. I also have a fond love for animals as well. In the early part of 2023, I completed my Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification and have decided to dedicate myself to assisting others through teaching. It brings me joy to immerse myself in different cultures and to connect with individuals from all walks of life. Hi there! My name is Omasiri, and I am a second-year LLB Law student at the University of Brighton. I teach GCSE History and Sociology, and I teach English from KS2 to GCSE. For GCSE exam boards, I am strictly AQA only. I believe that teaching should be fun and personalised so that everyone has their best chance at succeeding, as every person experiences and processes things differently. I studied 7 GCSEs and 1 BTEC at The Aylesbury Vale Academy. My subjects and grades were the following: Mathematics (6), Double Science (6,6), English Literature (7), English Language (7), History (7), Music (7), Spanish (7), and a Level 1 & 2 TEC Award in Performing Arts (Distinction* = 9). For A-levels, I studied at a grammar school called Aylesbury High School. These are the subjects I took and the grades I got: English Literature (B), History (B), Psychology (C), and an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on The Necessity of the Right to Silence and Diplomatic Immunity to the Criminal Justice System (C). Now I am a law student who finished their first year with a 2:1, striving to graduate with a 1st and go into being a solicitor or work within the legal sector of large business firms.
