Preferred Student Age Group: Any! :) About me: Hello, my name's Flora and I am a student studying French and Russian at the University of Manchester! I studied the core subjects at GCSE and chose Further Maths, French, Spanish, History and Art as my options, and then continued onto A Levels with French, Maths, and Art! In my gap year before university, I went to France (Bordeaux) as an Au Pair. I looked after 2 boys and taught them English! I had a great time living with the French family and improving on my French language skills whilst helping improve their English skills. I discovered my passion for tutoring whilst I was in France and love sharing little techniques that have helped me achieve good grades in the past, and helping others reach their full potential! :) My hobbies include playing netball, painting, and travelling! Exam season can be a very worrying/stressful time for many of us, and so I am here to help ease that anxiety by building a plan of action with you, working out your goals and how we will achieve them, and also teaching you some breathing techniques if you would like! I am studying Medicine at Queen's University Belfast and will be starting year 2 in September 2021. My hobbies include singing and playing the guitar. I have been singing since I was 7 years old. I started playing the guitar about 5 years back, and I love it. In my free time, I like to sketch. I often find myself sketching laparoscopic views of organs. Every summer, I spend my time in a daycare centre, helping the children and caretakers. This made me wonder about using these soft skills to help students get better in my favourite subject, hence I decided to start tutoring biology. I will try my best to provide a safe caring environment for my student, which allows them to blossom and grow. I believe my student will portray diligent values and skills such as inquirers, thinkers, open-minded, communicators, risk-takers, balanced and reflective. 3rd year - Medicine - Queen's University Belfast. I completed my IB Diploma, with 42/45, with 7/7 in Biology Higher Level; hence I would love to tutor Biology. I would like to take part in shaping the person they will ultimately become and encourage them to realize their true potential.

I am a student at the University of Portsmouth in my second year studying a maths degree. In my spare time I enjoy playing some video games, football and basketball. I also love playing chess. I try to keep a healthy lifestyle, fitting in the gym and three good meals a day. In the future I hope to work in the finance sector of maths possibly with a bank. I am very friendly and can accommodate to any of you/ your child's needs.
