Hey! My name is Maria and I am 23 years old. I am currently studying Dietetics at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. I have grown up trilingual, speaking Italian, German and Ladin at home with family and friends. Ladin is a very uncommon language, only 40,000 people speak it. Moreover, I speak English fluently and learned Russian for 5 years (B1 level). After finishing high school I went to Australia for 7 months. I worked and travelled along the southern and eastern coasts. I have worked as a teacher for a couple of months a few years ago, with a special focus on children with learning difficulties. I can teach Italian and German at all levels, and Maths and Biology at Lower Level. I don't have a preferred student age group.

I have taught over 2900 sessions with Go Student. Subjects : English, History, Religious Studies, Geography, Arts and Photography KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE My name is Alicia and I am delighted to be teaching English, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Arts and Photography for Go Student. I am a Masters graduate and a passionate educator. I studied a Bachelor of Arts and since I have three years of experience working as a visiting practitioner/lecturer for BA students as alumni at my university. I also worked or Role Models as a course leader teaching life skills to children aged 3-15 across the world. I believe that every child is a different type of learner and their academic and personal growth is best when they nurture their individual passions. They are capable of learning anything , they simply need to be given the tools and skills to pursue it. Therefore it is vital for children to have dedicated mentors who support them through the different stages of their journey. I am passionate about demonstrating and encouraging students to explore, discover, and cultivate their strengths both academically and creatively. I am a Masters graduate and I studied a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and publishing . Since graduating I have had four years of experience working as an online tutor as well as working as alumni and a practitioner for first and second year BA students.

Hello, I'm Sophie, an 19 year old second year undergraduate student studying Modern Languages at University. I have an enthusiasm for languages and genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I can guarantee you’ll have productive and enjoyable sessions with me. In my free time I enjoy dancing latin dances such as Bachata and Salsa and like socialising and practicing my language skills. I am fluent in Russian due to my heritage and have visited Moscow annually during the summer holidays. I have previous experience in having tutored 3 GCSE students while juggling with my A levels and helped them achieve their goals. In addition, I participated in online language classes back in 2022 for Berlitz Oxford Language Centre as a role of a teacher assistant, so I am very familiar with the tutoring/teacher role. Currently, I am offering tutoring in Spanish from beginners, GCSE to A levels.

I have always been curious and love solving problems, which led me to study biochemistry at university before moving into software development. I enjoy challenges, whether it’s in science, coding, or everyday life, and I find it really rewarding to figure things out. During lockdown, I even taught myself how to solve a Rubik’s Cube, which was a fun way to test my patience and problem-solving skills. Beyond work, I love learning new things through reading and watching documentaries. Exploring different cultures is also something I’m really passionate about—I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different ways of life. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I enjoy helping others grow and develop their own skills. With a curious mind and a love for challenges, I’m always excited to take on new opportunities and share my knowledge with others. I attended Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls, where I completed my GCSEs and A-levels. After that, I pursued my passion for science by studying biochemistry at the University of Warwick. I dedicated myself to my studies and graduated with an upper second-class degree.
