Currently, I’m also an English tutor at Vaughan Company, where I work with Spanish-speaking students. I can’t wait to see you thrive in class. I am Jiffrey E. Gumop-as, a graduate of Philippine Normal University with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English. I am TEFL certified and successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in August 2014. With nine years of teaching experience, I am deeply committed to nurturing the academic and personal growth of my students. My approach focuses on creating a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where students not only gain proficiency in the English language but also develop critical thinking skills, creativity, and confidence. I strive to make each lesson engaging and relevant, tailoring my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student and inspire a love for learning. I can teach English and Maths at a primary school level. I can also teach English and History at a GCSE Level. Furthering this I have experience with OCR, AQA and Pearson Edexcel. My first language is English and I can speak this fluently. I can understand both Urdu and Punjabi and speak Punjabi at a basic level. I prefer students at a Primary English and Primary school level. I have got an LLB Law degree and currently doing a Masters in Law. I did Alevels in English Language, Law and Sociology and achieved grades BAA. I enjoy reading a range of fiction and none fiction books. I also enjoy playing sports and I am a part of the local netball and football team

I enjoy playing rugby and cricket and also playing the saxophone and piano. *TSH* In my A-Levels I achieved A*A*A in Maths, Spanish and Further Maths, and also took economics for a year. I also received a distinction in grade 8 alto saxophone, a merit in grade 7 clarinet and a distinction in grade 5 piano. I am also an ECB stage two qualified cricket umpire.

We love doing a lot of fun activities together like singing at the karaoke, eating Japanese and Korean dishes, cooking, reading books, watching TV and going shopping at the mall. Hello, my name is Mhac, and I’m excited to share a little bit about my background and experience. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, majoring in Mathematics, and I am a licensed Mathematics teacher. My journey into the world of education has been both rewarding and diverse. Initially, I spent almost a decade working as a customer service representative for an international company. In this role, I had the opportunity to interact with clients who were native English speakers from the United States and Canada. This experience not only honed my communication skills but also allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of cultural nuances and how to provide exceptional service in a global context. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my time in customer service, I realized that my true passion lies in teaching. I decided to pivot my career and pursue what I love most—helping students understand and appreciate the beauty of mathematics. I am currently a public school Mathematics teacher, where I strive to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment for my students. In addition to my teaching role, I volunteer every Sunday in a free tutorial program, where I help students outside of the classroom strengthen their math skills.
