Language: English - Fluent Preferred Age Group: GCSE, A-Level Hello, my name is Tom and I LOVE all things Maths and Physics! I'm beginning my fourth year of studying these subjects at university, so I know the struggles of the student first hand. Aside from my degree, I am also an avid Irish dancer and came 5th at the most recent World Championships. That's me in a nutshell! At GCSE I achieved an A*, 8 A's and 2 B's, with the A* in Maths and an AA in Double Award Science. At A-Level I took Maths, Physics and Software Systems Development and got 2 A*'s and an A respectively. I am currently in my fourth year of studying for a Masters degree in Applied Mathematics & Physics at Queen's University Belfast, which I am seriously enjoying.

Studying computer science at university gave me the chance to explore the latest technology and various programming languages. Technology is a very rapidly moving industry and makes me very excited about the future as computers now play a massive role in all aspects of our lives. Throughout my life I always wanted a job that allowed me to make a difference and have a impact on the world. I think, that teaching computers science, is one of the best ways how to help children and young people to venture into todays computer driven world. It also fulfil my dream of making positive impact by motivating and inspiring our next generations of bright minds. Also, I wouldn't say that learning Russian is easy but I do know for sure that it is very rewarding. Russian is still very widely spoken language in Eastern Europe and it could help you if you travel across many European countries. Therefore, I would like to help students to learn Russian and to prove that learning new languages can be a fun challenge. I am Katie, an undergraduate student at Durham University. I am in second year, studying Environmental Geoscience. I achieved an A* at Maths A level, 9 at GCSE and have always enjoyed maths. I have had tutoring experience on another online platform and within my university, tutoring foundation students. I really enjoy tutoring and seeing the improvement I can make on a students ability is very rewarding. I look forward to meeting some of you. Foundation Maths Tutor at Durham University I was tutoring Foundation maths student at a Maths 2 level, helping them get to A level standard and beyond. Through this I have gained speaking skills, communication skills and more experience in adapting my knowledge to help others. Online Tutor I have been an online tutor with MyTutor since April, completing a number of hours in GCSE and A level maths tutoring. I have really enjoyed this and gained experience in simplifying complex concepts for a better understanding. I have also gained presenting and technology skills as this was all done on an online platform.
