Hi, I'm Arshiya! I am currently a 4th Bioengineering Student at the University of Sheffield. I have a strong background in chemistry, biology and mathematics. I'm super friendly and easy to talk to and would consider myself a calm and patient teacher. Outside of my studies I have interests in painting, playing the guitar and going to the gym :) Currently undertaking an integrated masters programme for Bioengineering at the University of Sheffield. Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. Levels and subjects I teach: GCSE: Mathematics KS3: Mathematics 11 plus: Mathematics I graduated from Imperial College London in BSc in Chemistry with Management with First Class Honours. For A Level, I achieved A in Maths, Chemistry and Accounting and also B in Physics For GCSE, I had 9 GCSEs including 7 A in Maths, Science, Commerce, Geography, etc My academic excellence serves as a strong foundation in tutoring as I can explain concepts clearly ensuring students grasp the material effectively. My experience in tackling challenging problems equips me with strategies to help students approach difficult questions with confidence and precision.

I studied the core subjects at GCSE and chose Further Maths, French, Spanish, History and Art as my options, and then continued onto A Levels with French, Maths, and Art! In my gap year before university, I went to France (Bordeaux) as an Au Pair. I looked after 2 boys and taught them English! I had a great time living with the French family and improving on my French language skills whilst helping improve their English skills. I discovered my passion for tutoring whilst I was in France and love sharing little techniques that have helped me achieve good grades in the past, and helping others reach their full potential! :) My hobbies include playing netball, painting, and travelling! Exam season can be a very worrying/stressful time for many of us, and so I am here to help ease that anxiety by building a plan of action with you, working out your goals and how we will achieve them, and also teaching you some breathing techniques if you would like!
