But it's during my time at Manchester that, thanks to my amazing lecturers, I got passionate about teaching and I decided to become a tutor. Apart from languages and literature, I love screenwriting, reading, playing volleyball and tennis. I have an MA and PhD in Classics and Ancient History from The University of Manchester, and a background in Italian, English and Russian. In 2015, I completed my BA in English and Russian in Italy. In 2017, I gained an MA in Classics and Ancient History (with distinction) from the University of Manchester and went on to apply for a PhD in Classics and Ancient History. During my MA and the first two years of my PhD, I was lucky enough to attend John Taylor’s classes in Latin and Classical Greek. Over the past five years, I have built my teaching experience both in the classroom and as a private tutor: I have successfully tutored students in Latin and Greek (both in Italy and in the UK) preparing for CE, GCSE, and A-Level examinations; I have taught Latin literature and Roman history to undergraduate students at Manchester University. I have also taught Latin and Classical Greek at the London Summer School in Classics (UCL), and Homeric Greek at the Summer School in Homer (UCL). In 2021, I was awarded an Associate Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy. In 2022, I completed my PhD in Classics and Ancient History.

AS is also an Expert of the European Commission for Culture. She was guest lecturer at La Sorbonne University Paris, the University of Salerno and the Catholic University of Milan. She is Opera Management Professor and Chair of the Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee of the London Performing Academy of Music.

Hi there! I'm Kashmala, I'm a passionate medical student with a deep love for learning and a commitment to making a positive impact in the world of healthcare. In the moments when medical books take a back seat, you'll find me engrossed in the world of literature. Whether it's diving into the pages of a gripping novel or exploring the latest advancements in medical literature, reading is my cherished escape. Additionally, I channel my energy into maintaining a healthy lifestyle by engaging in sports and hitting the gym. Exam board experience: Edexcel, AQA Languages: English and Urdu/Hindi Preferred student age group: Primary through to GCSE I'm currently a second year medical student. I studied Maths, Biology and Chemistry for A levels and I also did Business at AS. For my GCSE, I studied the core subjects as well as art (grade 8), PE (grade 8) and Spanish (grade 7). I received a grade 9 in Chemistry and a grade 8 in Maths and biology.

I am an optimistic, energetic and happy young man who likes new challenges. I am very social and I like to make others feel comfortable. I am a musician as well as a sports person. I’ve been playing the drums since the age of 7 and the piano for about 3 years. I play every Sunday at my church and can also teach these instruments. I used to run for a local sports club and compete for them on a county level. This helped me a lot with team work and also leadership.
