I'm currently in my second year of med school at Newcastle University, juggling my studies with a taste for adventure. Growing up bilingual (thanks to my English father and Italian mother), I've had the privilege of experiencing two vibrant cultures. Most of our family vacations revolve around my Italian heritage, which is something I truly cherish. When I'm not nose-deep in my medical textbooks, you can catch me kicking a football on the field or sweating it out at the gym. Staying active is a big deal for me. Plus, I'm all about exploring new avenues. This year, I decided to give bouldering a shot – it's quite hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it can be really good fun. Sports are woven into the fabric of my life, whether I'm the one playing or just an eager spectator. Whether it's the heart-pounding excitement of football, the strategic moves in tennis, or the lightning-speed action of F1, I'm hooked. Hi my name is Dami, 1st class biomedical science graduate as well as a graduate entry medical student. I’ve always had a love for sciences maths and literature from a young age but I struggled to find the right study methods to succeed in these subjects. I am a first class biomedical science student alongside being a second year medical student studying abroad. I also have 11A*-A GCSE subjects with A*s in history, English language and literature, religious studies and geography, and As in all three sciences I also attained AAB in my a-levels in geography, biology and chemistry

I am confident in my abilities to teach subjects such as Maths and Physics to the age groups of primary up until GSCE level, having experience with exam boards such as AQA and Edexcel. Languages: I can speak conversational Bengali and fluent English. I obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering with First Class Honours at the undergraduate level, and look forward to studying a postgraduate course in MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering with Energy at the University of Birmingham. Things I like to do in my spare time include training regularly at the gym because I am a massive fan of fitness, and I have a guilty pleasure of watching anime shows (which are NOT cartoons :D ) and watching Formula 1. And a weird thing about me is that I go by another name (Nahid) which my friends and family call me, but you can be my friend also so you call me what you find easy to remember :) I received a Grade B in Chemistry, C in Maths and C in Physics at A-Level, which allowed me to be accepted onto a course I really enjoyed in Chemical Engineering BEng at Aston University. At GCSE, Maths and Science were my favourite subjects and I achieved Grade A's for both of these subjects and a Grade B in Further Maths.
