Hello! I'm Jacob, and I have a passion for making complex subjects like Maths, Chemistry, and Physics both understandable and enjoyable. In the past 6 months, I've developed a strong background in private tutoring, specifically in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry for students up to A-level. This experience has not only sharpened my teaching skills but also deepened my appreciation for these subjects. Additionally, at university, I guided small groups of undergraduate students through tutorial sessions, focusing on preparing them for their exams. My academic journey includes achieving top grades (A*) in Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Further Maths at A-level, complemented by a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. Recently, I've developed a keen interest in Computer Science and Machine Learning. In fact, my master's project was all about diving into Machine Learning, which has been an exciting new chapter in my studies.

I am currently in my second year studying BSc Biomedical Science. I am eager to help out pupils struggling with science! I have developed a number of great techniques that worked for me from GCSE up to A-level . Don’t worry, you’re in great hands. I’m organised, hard-working and love a challenge. But most importantly a current student😁! I have 8 GCSE’s with grade 7s in English Maths and Science.Other GCSEs include an 8 in French and History. At A-Level I achieved AAB and D* in Biology, History, English and Business. I am currently a second year student studying Biomedical Science.

I love to dance and have been doing this since the age of 4. I have taught maths GCSE for almost a year now so have acquired a lot of resources and tricks to get you the best grades. My preferred age group is Year 9+10. I have taught those struggling to pass and those aiming to achieve a grades 7+. I believe I am best suited to those who are struggling as I am a very approachable and kind tutor who never lose patience or makes students feel as though the don't understand concepts. I am currently studying an integrated masters of chemistry at the University of Sheffield. I achieved AAA in chemistry, business and politics at A level and 7s or above in all my GCSE'S. I have experience tutoring within my school and on this platform for almost a year.
