I am an English and Creative Writing student at University and I love to make art and do yoga in my spare time. My favourite subject to teach is poetry, but Shakespeare is also up there! I have a cat, and welcome you to show me your pets during lessons :) I attended Queens’ School, Bushey where I achieved high scores in my A Levels and GCSEs. I achieved above 6 in all GCSEs, including 9s in English Language and Literature. For A Levels I studied Psychology, English Literature and Biology, achieving A*AA. I am currently a student at the University of Warwick.

As a tutor, I am able to customise my lessons to best support the needs of my students. I also taught in secondary schools as both cover teacher and teaching assistant, which allowed me to comprehend and adhere to lesson plans in order to support the classroom teacher and individual special needs students with day-to-day instruction and learning. Being trilingual (fluent in Bengali, Italian and English) languages have always been an integral part of my life, which gives me an advantage when communicating with my students. Hi, I'm Shara. I recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with Mathematics from University College London (UCL). I am excited to teach science and maths to students at GCSE and KS3 levels. Having completed my own GCSEs under the (9-1) system, I'm well suited to teaching the newer, harder topics that have been introduced. I am passionate about helping young people get the most out of their education. I will work with you and your child to find common ground, relate their studies to things that interest and engage them, and hopefully be that one to one person who makes things "click" for them. Working within a class suits a lot of children, but isn't always the best approach for everyone. Asking questions is a lot easier when you are in a safe one to one environment. Whether you need someone to sit with your child while they do their homework, work on extra examples to deepen their understanding so they enjoy class time more, or work towards an entrance or 11 plus exam I can help. I have worked in and out of schools since I gained my degree. I am married with a teenage daughter. Outside of work I love being outdoors, walking, gardening and on my paddleboard. I have a first class BaHons in Fashion and Textiles as this was my passion as a teenager and worked for many years as a clothing buyer.
