Her patience and ability to connect the subject to my understanding completely transformed how I engaged with science. Unlike other teachers whose methods didn’t quite resonate with me, she sparked something—a love for Biology that remains with me to this day. From that moment on, I was driven not just to deepen my own understanding of Biology, but to help others experience those same “aha” moments—whether that’s in GCSE Biology, Physics, or Chemistry. Subsequently, I pursued my A-levels, advancing my knowledge in specific subjects and preparing for higher education. Currently, I am enrolled in university, where I am actively engaged in furthering my education. This stage of my academic journey has provided me with opportunities to delve deeper into my chosen field of study, contributing to my overall growth and development. I am a highly motivated individual, who has recently graduated with a BSc Law degree at Aston University. I have always loved the idea of teaching and have previous experience to portray this. I volunteered at Hamilton special school whilst studying at Sixth Form as well as tutoring younger students in my school. It was a rewarding experience which is why I have decided to tutor students part time. The subjects in which I am interested in tutoring are as follows: English Language and Literature at Secondary school level English Language and Literature to adult learners English as a foreign language to all ages As for my GCSE results, I received an A* for English language and an A for English literature. For my A-levels I studied English language and literature where I obtained a grade B. I have also recently completed my BSc Law degree and graduated in July.
