I now study Spanish and Italian at the University of Bath. I am a very sociable person and love to make conversation. My main hobbies include cooking, baking and playing sports. Currently in the third year of a four year degree in Spanish and Italian at the University of Bath. Right now I am in Rome, Italy, studying at Sapienza University (Spanish Linguistics, Didactics and Italian C1). Prior to this semester I was studying at Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile (Psycholinguistics, Quechua Language and Culture, and Development Models in Latin America).

I am an experienced maths teacher/ lecturer. Currently, I work in a training centre, prior to this I have worked in a FE college for more than 6 years, teaching GCSE and functional skills maths. I have also taught ESL to adult groups. I have the experience teaching face to face and online using different platforms. I always worked with children with Special Educational needs from different back grounds. In addition, I worked in primary school supporting year 6 learners to build their maths skills to pass their SATs, before that I was teaching Arabic and Tajweed rules age of 5yrs up to adults. I hold GCSE in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. In addition, I hold A level in maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic and biology. I also hold BSc Electrical engineering, PTLLS L3 award in education and training and Diploma L3 in teaching and supporting learners.

I am looking forward to studying English Literature at University this year as I really love reading, some of my favourite books include The Book Thief, Wuthering Heights and Six of Crows. I also enjoy going on walks and doing nature photography. I play the piano, and I also love baking, especially if it involves chocolate!

One of my main hobbies is Taekwondo, in which I have achieved titles of National, European and World Champion and my 4th Dan BlackBelt. I enjoy helping others and have had experience doing so in a 4 week volunteer trip to Tanzania in 2019 where I experienced different cultures and helped conserve wildlife and build a school for the local children. This was an eye-opening worthwhile experience that I will always remember and I appreciated helping others. I am also a Grade 6 in piano which has helped my confidence and determination to improve in the 10 years I have been playing.
