Hello! I'm Maddy, I'm 23 years old currently completing my Master's in Public Health at Cardiff University. I completed my undergraduate degree in Population Health and Medical Sciences at Swansea University, where I obtained First Class Honours. My hobbies and interests include health and fitness... primarily because I also love to bake. I also enjoy reading and socializing with friends! My guilty pleasures include: binge watching TV series (usually the same ones over and over again) and scrolling through TikTok for hours on end. I can assure you that whilst I loved studying biology, it wasn't without its challenges. I have first hand experience in building confidence for both day-to-day lessons and preparing for all aspects of exams. I myself, was tutored for A-level Biology, an experience that proved invaluable in aiding my understanding and providing tools for self directed study across all subject areas. This transpired onto my further academic studying as well. I endeavor to not only aid in the learning of a subject but also reflect and teach these fundamental tools in the tuition I provide. It would be great to help another student, whatever their age or aspirations for their chosen subject may be. Hi! My name is Tom, I'm a 23 year old History graduate with a passion for teaching and assisting others by utilising my extensive knowledge of various periods of history and historical topics. During my studies I have focused on topics such as medicine, American expansionism, British Politics (18thC, 19thC, 20thC and 21stC), Soviet Russia, China and many many more! I am sure that whatever is needed of me, I'll be able to assist to the best of my abilities! Having graduated as part of the Class of 2021, I am now in the process of becoming an English teacher in Guangzhou China! Away from studies, I love all things football as well as taking a keen interest in technology and world affairs. Aside from making sure I get the most from any tutoring lessons, I'm always up for discussion and a laugh!
