Hi! I’m Mo, currently a first year uni student studying Politics and IR at the University of Nottingham. I previously studied Maths, Further Maths, History and Economics at A-levels, all in which I’m confident in. The two hobbies that I dedicate the most time towards are badminton and bouldering. I’m pretty sociable and enjoy teaching, no matter the age group. Thank you, Arthur Mo I was educated in local schools in China as a kid then moved to the United Kingdom at 13. I attended Haberdashers' Adams for my GCSEs, the moved on to Colchester Royal Grammar School for my A-levels. I am currently a first year student at the University of Nottingham studying Politics and International Relations.

I have a first-class bachelor’s degree in philosophy and classics from The Open University, where I studied a wide range of topics such as ethics, metaphysics, logic, ancient history, literature, and culture. I am currently studying a Philosophy MA at Birkbeck University. I have always been intellectually driven and have experience in learning efficiently and effectively. My teaching style is enthusiastic, explorative, and attentive. I aim to inspire my students to discover the beauty and relevance of English Literature and Language and to help them develop their critical thinking and analytical skills. I tailor my lessons to suit the needs and interests of each student, and I provide them with detailed feedback and guidance. I teach English, as well as Philosophy and Ancient Languages, at various levels, from beginners to intermediate and have a strong knowledge of GCSE and A level Syllabi. I believe that learning can be not only intellectually rewarding, but also enjoyable. I use a variety of resources and methods to make my lessons engaging and interactive, such as games, quizzes, videos, podcasts, key texts, and images. I also encourage my students to express their own opinions and perspectives, and to engage in lively discussions with me and with each other. I have been working as a tutor as part of the National Tutoring Scheme for the past year. In that time, I have been consistently praised for my creative, engaging and understanding approach to tuition. I have also completed a Teach First course in a Further Education environment, in which I shadowed experienced teachers, learnt about effective teaching practice, and presented my own lesson to senior educators to rave reviews. I graduated with a Mathematics degree from Lancaster University. I have experience tutoring from primary school to GCSE levels and pupils preparing for the 11+ exams. I currently also work as a coach in a number of primary and secondary schools; therefore, I have gained extensive experience teaching and working with children. I am a very patient and approachable person who tries to conduct tutorial lessons in a fun and interactive manner, allowing pupils to develop an interest in maths and absorb complicated subjects more efficiently. I did Maths and addiation Maths at GCSE level and I did Maths and Further Maths in my A Levels. I went to school in King Edward VI Grammar School in Stratford upon Avon. I also went to do BSc Mathematics at Lancaster University. I also have a DBS certificate for working with children.
