I am a University of York Computer Science student originally from Australia but now living in York! I enjoy working with young people and have worked in a wide variety of primary and high schools across the Leeds area. In my spare time, I enjoy playing on games on my Nintendo Switch and have even built my own computer! Completed my UK A-Levels in Computer Science, Psychology and Maths achieving AAB respectively. English Language GCSE- AQA CRASH COURSE EXAM PREP English Literature GCSE & A-Level- AQA (text specific) History GCSE- Edexcel History A-level- AQA I specialise in working with SEN children, adapting to how they learn to help them achieve! Hi, I'm Amelia; I am a second-year university student at the University of Leeds. My passion is learning, and my goal in life is to follow my childhood dream of being a teacher! I am kind, friendly, and have rich classroom experience working with SEN children. When not tutoring, I enjoy baking, volunteering, cooking, reading and playing pool for the university team! A level in English Literature, History and Biology B- A* GCSE ranging grade 8-9 I have just under 2 years of experience working as a 1 to 1 tutor and classroom assistant and have previously led students to grades 5-7 from U-3. I am currently studying for a degree in English Literature and History at a Russell Group University and have recently been accepted to work as a 1 to 1 overseas in the US over the summer as a specialist counsellor for children with learning disabilities.

Alongside this I worked as a vaccinator for the NHS. I am a passionate sportsmen, specifically surfing, golfing and tennis. Studied at Oundle School from the age of 13 through to the end of A-levels, indulging in sports and the arts. I've used tutors throughout my time at school, to gain a deeper understanding of the subjects in which I was passionate. This gives me a strong basis to tutor and I know the varying current curriculums very well. Throughout my gap year I volunteered in a private wildlife reserve in Southern Namibia, where I learnt many skills and developed as a person. I hope to be able to help out in any way that I can!
