I completed my A-levels at Westfield Academy in 2021 in Biology, Psychology and Chemistry. I then pursued a BSc in Clinical Pharmacology at St George’s University of London, where I gained extensive academic and practical experience in the field. In my second year, I undertook an independent research project on Mu Opioid Receptors, collaborating with a doctor who supervised my work. This involved conducting lab experiments, analyzing data, presenting findings to course team members, and authoring a comprehensive research paper. I also completed a placement at St George’s Hospital, where I collaborated on a hospital-wide survey about the treatment escalation plan (TEP). My responsibilities included organizing and conducting the survey, analyzing results, creating informative materials for distribution, and presenting findings to medical professionals during a grand round. In my third year, I engaged in various written research projects on topics like menopause and conducted a detailed research presentation on a drug of my choice. I successfully completed an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), further enhancing my clinical and analytical skills. My academic journey reflects my strong commitment to research, collaboration, and the practical application of knowledge.
