Hello, my name is Jessica! I would say that I'm a friendly and easy-going person. Growing up in southeast London I've learnt to adapt to the fast-paced environment of working as well as making time for my education. I have experienced the pressures of school life and know what to do to keep up, my motto is work smarter in life not harder! I've learnt through the process that having good organisational skills is key as well as identifying personal strengths and weaknesses. Hence, I hope to deliver good quality classes by learning to understanding my students and focus on their needs to facilitate their learning journey. I'm very passionate about the sciences and aim to help others develop their knowledge in this subject.

Languages: English and Spanish. I am a native Spanish and Dr in social anthropologist at the the University of Manchester. I teach Sociology and Media Studies at all Levels including GCSE, A-Level including IB curriculum and exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, 11+ and Cambridge International. I also teach Spanish to adult students at different levels. My teaching philosophy is shaped by my academic background in anthropology and interest in how cultures influence the production of knowledge. I also have knowledge in film studies and skills in audio-visual production. I can support students in their academic and artistic creative process. In my teaching, I link the learning material and cultures to engage in communication with the students and contextualise what we are learning. Cycling, climbing and the love for animals are some of my main personal interests. I love travelling and I am currently living in Berlin.

Hi, I'm Hamza! I'm currently studying a Masters in Computer Science at the University of Bristol. I am very excited to be able to pass on my knowledge and experience to students who are in the same position as I was a few years ago. I have previous experience in tutoring Maths, Physics and Computer Science and I'm very keen to pursue this again.

In 2022, I gained a first-class honours degree in Immunology, Infection and Cell Pathology at UCL. I was additionally awarded the David Katz Project Presentation Prize for my Neuroscience research project at the Francis Crick Institute. I have attended seven schools in four countries (Munich, Berkley, Los Angeles, Tokyo, St Andrews), which gave me a wealth of experience with different educational systems. Prior to starting university, I worked for two years as a laboratory intern in one of the world-leading virology laboratories at the University of St Andrews, focussing on novel vaccines and antiviral treatments. I am bilingual (English and Russian), and also fluent in Japanese. I am a qualified Japanese-English translator and have worked as an online translator for many years. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and had been a first-team captain of both the UCL medical women's team and the London inter-university teams.
