Hi, my name is Jean and I am a Leaving Certificate Biology tutor. I am a third year medical student and I received a H1 in Biology. I have an excellent knowledge of the paper and would love the opportunity to share the information that I have. My teaching style would focus more on recalling information and would be more question based which is a technique that helped me to get 625 points in my Leaving Cert and continues to help me to achieve great results in my exam. However, my teaching style will adapt based on the student. I have accumulated a large bank of exam questions. Practising past exam questions are essential to achieving good results in the Leaving Cert Biology Exam I am a third year medical student. My knowledge of biology has only expanded since doing my leaving cert. I have been teaching on GoStudent for over a year and have really enjoyed working with both fifth and sixth year students. I have a certificate in effective communications. I have previous experience teaching ballet. I completed my Leaving Certificate in 2021 and I sat all of my written examinations. I have worked in youth services and informal education for over fifteen years, including a year spent running an emergency academic support and tutoring centre during the covid-19 pandemic. I love getting to know each student individually, understanding their interests and learning style to build lessons that help them meet their goals and grow a lifelong love of reading, writing, and learning. Aeronautical engineering student who would like to gain some experience and skills via tutoring. I believe tutoring would help me improve my confidence in explaining concepts clearly to other people. I have always done well in mathematics at school such as achieving a gold in the UK maths challenge at 11 years old. I have a passion for aircraft and cars so maths and physics are subjects that I spend alot of my time studying so that i can understand my passion more.
