Hi, I am Lawrence Mattew Juan and I am dedicated in helping students to achieve their dreams through learning. I am a teacher of mathematics and with my years of experience of exploring the subject, I can assist and develop student's critical thinking and problem solving skills to its maximum level. My goal is to deliver a personalized learning experience that can help students achieve their full potential and to empower them with concepts that are relevant and necessary to address their academic needs. I hold a Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Mathematics degree and I am currently on my thesis part of my Masters of Arts in Mathematics Education. I have a 6-year teaching experience in high school and college, and the subject I taught are mathematics focusing on general mathematics, trigonometry calculus and physics specifically in mechanics, electricity and magnetism. In my years of experience, I have navigated the subject of math and physics through tools physical and digital tools, the art of questioning and proper assessment and evaluation.

Preferred age group: GCSE and A Level About me: I am 20 years old and in my first year of University doing medicine at QMUL Malta. In my gap year, I worked at my old school where I tutored AQA biology and chemistry to small groups of year 13s. Having gone through the UCAS process twice recently I also have a lot of knowledge regarding medical universities entry requirements and where might be best depending on your UCAT and GCSE grades. Some of my hobbies include surfing, going to the gym, gaming and music. I enjoy concerts and music festivals and have tickets to see Post Malone in May and plan on going to a couple of the festivals I haven't yet gone to this upcoming summer. I grew up in Ireland and moved here at 14 at the start of year 9 so if you are unfamiliar with the UK and its education system and are trying to get to grips with it I believe I'll be able to help you immensely as I went through the same thing.
