Teaching background: I have taught and teach KS2 Maths and English (all levels at Primary school). I am patient with students and allow them to learn at their own pace. I split most of my classes into 40% teaching (explaining the subject), 35% work and 25% going over the answers and areas where the student has struggled with. I generally set homework depending on if the parent requests so. I am 28 from Newcastle. I have a degree in Journalism and Media and I am currently doing my PGCE in Primary Education. I have taught English as a second language in Hong Kong. My hobbies include going to the gym, watching movies and reading. I am currently learning Spanish too!

I have a very creative method of teaching and like to include games and make it fun and stimulating. I have a lot of experience working with children on the spectrum and ADHD so can manage meltdowns and difficulties in learning. Teaching styles will be catered towards their way of learning (eg visual, oral, kinetic). I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-level. I then went on to study Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University. I have about 10 years experience in tutoring. Since I was 15, I have been teaching primary level and then after that went to teach secondary level. I teach English, Irish and Scottish Curriculum.
