Hello! I'm Teacher Gracy Bery, an ESL teacher with 2 years of experience, TESOL/TEFL certified, and a licensed educator. I integrate language, literature, and culture to help students improve language skills and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. I’ve taught students from elementary to higher education, adapting my methods to each group’s needs. I focus on creating an interactive, inclusive environment where students are inspired to express ideas, explore, and develop critical thinking skills. I hold a degree in Culture and Arts Education and focus on developing students' reading, pronunciation, and critical thinking. I use a student-centered approach with close reading, discussions, writing workshops, and multimedia to make literature engaging and accessible.

I have always been curious and love solving problems, which led me to study biochemistry at university before moving into software development. I enjoy challenges, whether it’s in science, coding, or everyday life, and I find it really rewarding to figure things out. During lockdown, I even taught myself how to solve a Rubik’s Cube, which was a fun way to test my patience and problem-solving skills. Beyond work, I love learning new things through reading and watching documentaries. Exploring different cultures is also something I’m really passionate about—I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different ways of life. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I enjoy helping others grow and develop their own skills. With a curious mind and a love for challenges, I’m always excited to take on new opportunities and share my knowledge with others. I attended Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls, where I completed my GCSEs and A-levels. After that, I pursued my passion for science by studying biochemistry at the University of Warwick. I dedicated myself to my studies and graduated with an upper second-class degree.

I graduated with a First Class degree in Biomedical Science from King's College London and am now studying Medicine. Having been a student myself for quite some time, I completely understand how challenging and daunting studying and exams can be for students. I am up to date with the new style A level and GCSE exam formats as well as the curriculum for KS1-KS3. I have been tutoring privately for 5 years and absolutely love teaching. I value each one of my students and recognise that each student is unique. I tailor my lessons according to the needs of the students and the demands of the specification. Every lesson, my students achieve something new and set new targets to achieve higher. I like to give my students confidence in their abilities and encourage them to reach their full potential. Medical student and a Biomedical Science graduate with a First Class Honours degree. I passed my 11+ exam and secured a place at a Grammar School. I achieved highly in my GCSE and A Level and studied Biomedical Science at King's College London. Along with this, I have sat Medical School entrance exams: UCAT, BMAT, GAMSAT as well as international Medical School entrance exams. Having passed Medical school interviews I helped conduct interviews to help Med school applicants at my secondary school. I have experience with the following exam boards: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC, 11+ as well as the curriculum for KS1-KS3.

I can teach English and Maths at a primary school level. I can also teach English and History at a GCSE Level. Furthering this I have experience with OCR, AQA and Pearson Edexcel. My first language is English and I can speak this fluently. I can understand both Urdu and Punjabi and speak Punjabi at a basic level. I prefer students at a Primary English and Primary school level. I have got an LLB Law degree and currently doing a Masters in Law. I did Alevels in English Language, Law and Sociology and achieved grades BAA. I enjoy reading a range of fiction and none fiction books. I also enjoy playing sports and I am a part of the local netball and football team
