I am an experienced Mathematics & Computer Science tutor. With my last cohort of students, I witnessed exponential improvements with students fluency and confidence. I have over three years experience in teaching. I have extensive teaching experience with students aged 5 – 18 and I have helped students to obtain the highest grades at KS1 – KS3 & GCSE. I can also provide coaching for career related advice and support with college and university applications. I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate. As well as using published materials, I provide bespoke materials for students based on examination questions so that they are able to develop their mathematical or computer science fluency and problem-solving skills. At the end of each session, students receive detailed notes of work covered, either in Word, PowerPoint or Microsoft Whiteboard format. I aim to make my sessions engaging, bringing in interactive elements and whiteboards as much as possible especially for my younger students in order to create a simulated, real-life fun experience with each hour. I hold a 1st Class Degree in Computer Science from The University of Birmingham. I also completed Maths, Computer Science and Economics A-levels, attaining an AAB respectively. I also hold strong GCSE grades covering Maths, English, Science, History and particularly completing ICT at a a grade A*

I’m a dedicated 5th-year medical student with a passion for learning and growth. Beyond my studies, I find joy in playing badminton and dancing, which keep me energized and balanced. Since 2018, I’ve been tutoring students across various levels, sharing my knowledge and helping them achieve their academic goals. With years of experience and a knack for connecting with others, I thrive on making learning engaging and impactful. I have a strong academic foundation that has shaped my journey as a medical student and tutor. My educational path began with achieving GCSE qualifications in a diverse range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, Psychology, Philosophy and Ethics, and Spanish. This broad base allowed me to explore various disciplines and develop critical thinking skills early on. Building on this, I pursued A-levels in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, focusing on subjects that align with my passion for science and healthcare. These studies provided me with a deeper understanding of complex concepts and prepared me for the rigorous demands of medical school. Currently, I am in my fifth year at the Medical University of Varna, where I am honing my skills and knowledge to become a competent and compassionate healthcare professional. My specializations include core medical sciences, clinical pharmacology, pediatrics, dermatology, and several other key areas of medicine. Alongside my studies, I have been tutoring since 2018, leveraging my expertise to help students excel in subjects such as Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as 11+ and SATs preparation. This combination of education and experience reflects my commitment to academic excellence and my passion for helping others succeed.

Throughout my career, I have always engaged in a range of sporting and fitness activities as well as in organizing a range of events for the participation of others. I have always enjoyed sharing the wider value and education that sporting activity is able to give to young people and communities. My wider interests include travel and engagement with other cultures, peoples and languages.

I am a new tutor here but I have worked in many areas of education for the past 9 years, be that through work experience, university courses, and volunteering with local charities. I bring a lot of the latest techniques, ideas, and motivation to our lessons and value the individuality of each student. I work tirelessly to make my lessons work best to your strengths and also improve other areas of your studies. I look forward to working with you and helping you with your English studies.
