Hello! My name is Jhuzen, but you can call me Zen. I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over five years of experience specializing in Algebra and Geometry. I’m passionate about making math both accessible and enjoyable, and I always strive to adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s individual needs. I believe that with the right support, anyone can improve their math skills and gain confidence. I have a strong desire to travel the world and immerse myself in different cultures, learning from each place I visit. In my downtime, I enjoy watching a variety of videos and movies, especially ones that broaden my horizons or simply bring a bit of fun to my day. I hold a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, but my true passion lies in teaching mathematics. I feel entirely confident in this subject, and this is reflected in my ability to present complex concepts in a straightforward and highly effective way. My goal is to make math accessible and engaging for students of all levels and abilities, adapting my teaching style to meet their unique needs and learning preferences.

Being a medical student has its own difficulties that will challenge your methods of revision and its rigorous workload has made me more efficient in establishing better routines and study methods. My educational career thus far has equipped me with the skills to breakdown difficult concepts and tackle confusing topics together with my students. The calm and light hearted demeanour with which I approach my lessons have kept my students confident to always approach me no matter how silly they think a question or doubt may be. This then works synergistically to help me understand their concerns and what I need to focus on more on to help attain my students’ targets. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind so I keep myself busy with activities I enjoy like rugby, football, table tennis, photography, hiking and channelling my inner Gordan Ramsay. ✅ A 4th Year Medical Student with 5+ years of tutoring experience offering engaging & bespoke lessons! I completed my GCSEs with 12 A*-B grades and studied Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology for A Levels at Newham Collegiate Sixth Form where they consistently send students to Ivy League and Russell Group universities like Cambridge, Oxford, King’s College, LSE etc. and prides itself in being one of the best sixth forms in London for student outcomes. I moved to the U.K. from India with my family in 2012 and I was placed in all the bottom set classes at school where I was faced with an unfamiliar syllabus and a foreign culture. I pride myself in working hard to reach the top sets and being able to complete my GCSEs with top grades. This has set the tone in my ethos and approach to learning to be proactive while being efficient.
