Mechanical Engineer, incredibly passionate about teaching, precisely Mathematics; -LC/A-level Math (I would love to have A-level trials as a priority for now if possible) -JC/GCSE Math - primary level Math(11+) Languages: English, French, Arabic Having a couple of years of experience, I find that it's extremely efficient to build a genuine friendly relationship with my students accompanied with respect, the right ethical mannerism, and last but not least, pleasure, because learning is highly interesting when the tutor is ready and thrilled to deliver his absolute best in the most suitable way. I am glad that I now have a one year of GoStudent experience with over a thousand completed sessions, consequently, I know what it takes for a student to be interested in an online session and how make him/her feel welcomed and non-hesitant about asking any question that comes to mind. I would love to focus on taking A-level students at the moment.

I have always been drawn to the power of storytelling, and have nurtured this passion through my BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Exeter. I am a frequent writer of short fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry and am currently studying for an MA in Creative Writing. For the past four years I have worked primarily as a private English tutor, with the majority of my students being GCSE and A-Level candidates. As a student myself I was lucky enough to have exceptional teachers and tutors who not only instilled their enthusiasm for the subject in me, but also gave me the confidence needed to achieve my full potential. These principles form the foundation of my own tutoring, and it is of vital importance to me that students feel they are obtaining valuable skills and knowledge which will serve them for life. Following the Covid-19 pandemic I sought to provide some stability and reassurance to students given the unprecedented disruption to their education and I feel very fortunate to say that I have supported them in achieving, and often exceeding, their target grades. Exam boards I have experience with include: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, & WJEC. I primarily teach secondary school students. Specialising in GCSE & A-Level. My SEND experience includes working with students who have Dyslexia, ADHD, and ASD.

GCSE: English literature, English language, Business A-level: English Literature, Business Studies Degree level: Religion, Politics, Education, Social Sciences Exam board exp: AQA, Edexcel, OCR Experience with: KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5 including SEN and EAL students Languages: English and Spanish Preferred student age group: KS2 and KS4 About me: Since graduating from King's College London with a BA in Religion, Politics and Society in 2022 I have had various roles in education. After university I worked at a secondary school on a graduate scheme with Step Into Teaching, working as a teaching assistant and running the school library. In this role I worked predominantly with KS3 students on a 1:1 and small-group basis, but I love working with KS4 students and building their knowledge in their subjects. In this role I have worked with SEN and ESL students. Shortly after this I went to Malaga, Spain to work as an au pair. While living with a Spanish family it was my repsonsiblity to teach English to two daughters, ages 11 and 14. I then worked as an English tutor in a secondary school through the National Tutoring Programme. In this role I worked with year 10 and year 11 students, helping them progress in GCSE English Literature and GCSE English Language. I have recently completed an MA in Education at University College London and am currently working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school. Next September I will be training as a secondary school English teacher. I'm passionate about building student's confidence in their subject alongside building their subject knowledge. Based on my own experience, I'm keen to help students become more confident in how they perform in exam conditions and maximise the application of their knowledge when under pressure. My favourite thing about working as a tutor is seeing students gradually become more confident in asking questions and the sense of achievement they feel when they have reached a certain target grade or a certificate or award in school.
