I am also a massive fan of the performing arts (dance, singing, acting, music) and I regularly perform and choreograph shows and I have taught a variety of dance styles for almost 10 years. I am a Trainee Primary Teacher, currently working in a Reception class (ages 4-5). I have an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Aberdeen, and I am working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in (Primary) Education. I also have a grade 5 certification in public speaking (LAMDA).

My name is Carys and I am an Economics student at the University of Nottingham. I teach Economics at A-level and GCSE, as well as GCSE Maths. I love Economics and I am passionate about helping young people achieve in Maths as it provides important fundamentals for life and further study. I am a 2nd year Economics student at the University of Nottingham. This year, I am taking macroeconomics, microeconomics and applied econometrics (maths and stats) modules. Before university, I studied Economics, Maths and Geography with an Extended Project at A-level. I studied Edexcel A Economics, Edexcel Geography and AQA Maths. In secondary school, I took 9 GCSE's including the core subjects as well as Geography, French, Art and Textiles.

I have recently graduated from Exeter university with a degree in mathematics and I'm soon to start my masters in applied data science. I have been tutoring since September 2023 and look forward to having many more tutees. I'm a friendly tutor looking to help both GCSE and A level students.

I have a very creative method of teaching and like to include games and make it fun and stimulating. I have a lot of experience working with children on the spectrum and ADHD so can manage meltdowns and difficulties in learning. Teaching styles will be catered towards their way of learning (eg visual, oral, kinetic). I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-level. I then went on to study Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University. I have about 10 years experience in tutoring. Since I was 15, I have been teaching primary level and then after that went to teach secondary level. I teach English, Irish and Scottish Curriculum.
