Hi there! I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor specialising in Mathematics and Physics across various educational levels including GCSE, A-Level, Nat5, and Higher. I also offer tutoring in maths and physics outside these specific curricula, tailored to individual learning needs and goals. My academic journey is fueled by a deep passion for both maths and physics, which drives me to continually expand my knowledge in these subjects. I spend a significant portion of my time studying and exploring new concepts and ideas, as well as engaging with programming languages such as Python, LaTeX, and Maxima, which complement and enhance my teaching capabilities. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am actively working towards achieving Grade 7 in Piano (ABRSM). I also attended the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, an experience that instilled in me a strong sense of leadership, resilience, and teamwork. I attended secondary school in northern England and I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics at A-Level. I then went to the University of Edinburgh to study a BSc in Mathematics. I now study an integrated masters in Physics with the aspiration to study a PhD in Mathematical Physics in a couple of years.

As someone who was born and raised in Germany, I have a deep understanding and appreciation for the German language. Over the course of my educational journey, I have taken German classes throughout my school years, including GCSE and A-Level (IB). My passion for the language and desire to share my knowledge with others led me to start tutoring German. Having been tutoring for a year now, I have gained valuable experience and insight into the best approaches for helping students learn and master the language. I believe that learning a language is an incredibly valuable skill that opens doors to new cultures and experiences, and I am committed to helping my students achieve their language goals. As someone who has always been fascinated by the natural world, I have pursued my passion for biology through my academic studies. I have taken biology classes throughout my school years, including during my GCSE's and A-Levels (IB), achieving high marks in each of these courses. In my experience, I have found that many students struggle with the complex concepts and terminology in biology, which is why I have chosen to start tutoring the subject. My goal as a biology tutor is to help students not only understand the material, but to also cultivate a love for the subject. By breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces and using engaging teaching methods, I aim to help my students develop a strong foundation in biology that they can carry with them throughout their academic and professional careers. As someone who is currently studying business management at university, I have a passion for the field and a deep understanding of the concepts and principles that underlie it. I have been tutoring business to GCSE and A-level students for some time now, and it has been a truly rewarding experience. I believe that the key to success in business is a combination of sound theoretical knowledge and practical experience, and I aim to impart both to my students. I've taken German as an IGCSE subject and also studied it for one of my standard levels for the International Baccalaureate. Being able to attend an International School allowed me to also fluently speak English. I have been given the opportunity to tutor some students before.

Hello, my name is Ellen Davies. I am in my third year studying a Physics MSc at the University of Nottingham and am currently on course for a First. I studied Maths, Physics and Biology at A level and gained AAA* respectively. I can offer tutoring up to and including A level in any of these subjects. In both my maths and physics A levels I revieved an A and in my biology A level I revieved an A*. I am currently in my 3rd year of my physics with theoretical physics MSci course at the University of Nottingham and am on track for a 1st class dagree.
