I am Tom, I am 21 years old, and am currently in my 4th year (master's year) studying Physics with Astrophysics at Newcastle University. When having a break from work, I enjoy windsurfing, drumming, and learning Swedish. The prior two I have done some teaching in, albeit non-analytical, have provided me with a strong sense of communication and the ability to simplify elements of the task at hand.

I am an enthusiast ex-grammar school student currently studying optometry and visual science with a real passion for science and helping students unlock their full potential. I have experience in tutoring science up to A-level, and every student I have helped with the 11+ has achieved a place in a grammar school. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, reading, and researching around science to help me with my degree.

- Biology GCSE - Maths Year 7 - 9 I am a second year undergraduate student at King's College London studying BSc Biomedical Science, and achieved AAA at A Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have been a tutor & mentor all throughout school, and have tutored my younger sister throughout her GCSE Science & Maths. I've always loved Science, especially Biology, and enjoy studying it at university. I have also been a student who has taken online tutoring lessons during school, so I feel I understand well what makes an effective, helpful lesson and how to best support as a tutor. I love teaching, and like to create the most comfortable environment possible for my students - the best way to learn is through asking & answering questions. I've recieved awards for Biology & English in school, and I know the importance of mark schemes, exam specifications and how to approach questions thoroughly, with lots of advice to give from my own experience.
