I am studying Medicine at Queen's University Belfast and will be starting year 2 in September 2021. My hobbies include singing and playing the guitar. I have been singing since I was 7 years old. I started playing the guitar about 5 years back, and I love it. In my free time, I like to sketch. I often find myself sketching laparoscopic views of organs. Every summer, I spend my time in a daycare centre, helping the children and caretakers. This made me wonder about using these soft skills to help students get better in my favourite subject, hence I decided to start tutoring biology. I will try my best to provide a safe caring environment for my student, which allows them to blossom and grow. Teaching background: I have taught and teach KS2 Maths and English (all levels at Primary school). I am patient with students and allow them to learn at their own pace. I split most of my classes into 40% teaching (explaining the subject), 35% work and 25% going over the answers and areas where the student has struggled with. I generally set homework depending on if the parent requests so.
